What not to pack:

Here are a few items you should not pack. Most of these are dangerous to your load and/or to your movers. As well some of them are illegal to pack in the back of a truck without having a hazardous material license to carry them. Flammable, corrosive and explosive items:

  • Acid
  • Gasoline Poisons
  • Charcoil
  • Lighter Fluid
  • Fertilizer
  • Paints
  • Car Batteries
  • Matches
  • Nail Polish and Removers
  • Ammunition
  • Liquid Bleach
  • Stem Aerosols
  • Kerosene
  • Pool Chemicals
  • Chemistry Sets
  • Fire Works
  • Pesticides
  • Motor Oil
  • Paint Thinner
  • Loaded Weapons
  • Weed Killer
  • Ammonia
  • Lamp Oils
  • Propane Tanks
  • Cleaning Fluids
Empty all perishables such as Foods and plants that may die during transportation. Have all freezers and frigerators emptied at least 24 hours before hand. Most of our moves are local so we have no problem packing your perishables on the truck, but would appreciate it if we were told about it a head of time and the perishables were in a box instead of the refrigerater or freezer. By having these items already packed it will save you time and money on your move. If by chance you do not decide to use us as your movers it would be wise to check the policy of the moving company you did choose before hand on certain items before packing.
